“If you Love what you do, you will never work a day in your life”, Marc Anthony. That is so true and defines how I feel about my clients and my business.
I sold my first home July 4th, 1981 for DeFelice Realtors in Warwick RI where I was born and raised. I enjoyed selling real estate in the town I grew up in even though you slipped and slid on the icy streets in the winter. :) Then, on a cold February 6, 1990 I came to Jupiter, Florida for vacation, sat on the gorgeous beaches and fell in love! I dug out my old brick cell phone, do you remember those, and called my friend and said "put the sale sign on the lawn there are houses to sell in Florida and no snow"! The rest as they say is history.
My profession is my passion. It’s hard to believe I’ve sold over 750homes since 1981. To me it’s 750 families that I’ve helped navigate the sale of their home and move forward on their life journey. It's been very rewarding and each sale and family I help now just magnifies that. I have raised my family here in Jupiter. It's a very special town with so much for children to do. My son went to Private School and then off to Public School so we have knowledge of what both offer. He played sports on the local town teams (Jupiter Tequesta Athletic Association JTAA), took music classes, martial arts, you name it! We #LoveWhereWeLive. Especially walking our pup Bella on our dog friendly beaches or on the Carlin Park Heart Trail. We truly live, work and play in paradise.
Negotiation is my strong suit. I am blessed to be able to read the body language, tonality of voice, what a person says and what they don’t say to understand the situation and use it to my clients’ advantage. This has saved my clients thousands of dollars. One particular situation comes to mind where my seller’s wanted to accept a buyers offer; however, through their agents words or lack thereof I suggested we made a counter offer $15,000 more. Buyer accepted and my clients put that $15,000 in their pocket! Tony and Marie are good friends to this day and have relocated to a wonderful community called LaPosada!
